It turns out today is national best friend day, which reminded me I never posted this baby shower we did for one of my dearest friends. I’ve known Nicole for 26 years ( For real, where does the time go !?) We hold the sweetest childhood memories, talk daily and basically just know how to keep it real. Everyone needs someone like that in their life, especially in the trenches of motherhood, right ! She had her fourth baby boy Romeo, and yup, that means 9 kids between us now – don’tcha wanna come hang out with us – it wouldn’t be chaotic at all – hah!
Anywho- my girlfriends and I threw this shower for her and I must say, although it was at my house it was a very accumulative group effort! A bunch of group texts and bam – this is what we came up with. We didn’t do anything too over the top, but really felt inspired by Romeo’s name, and wanted it ” romeo and juliet” esque – hence the colour scheme etc..
Plus- if all else fails – Like our lack of decor – just add flowers !!
