It was beautiful this last weekend so Steve and the kids spent most of the long weekend outside on our property.. When left alone my mind starts to wander and yearn to create ( Which truly is my happy place..)
So with a bunch of fooling around I came up with this PINK and super yummy Valentine’s Day inspired latte! It’s quick, easy and creamy cosy <3 It would be fun to make when a girlfriend comes over, or when you have people for brunch. You can also make this decaf for the kids ( I made one for Levi today with organic echinacea tea ) -- You just have to remember to use a lighter coloured tea or it won't be bright pink 🙂
Here it is:
Easy PINK Blender latte:
1 Cup Water
Chai tea blend ( 2 teaspoons ground ginger 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground cardamom ) – in a tea strainer!
Beet juice ( At least 1-2 TBSP, the more you add the darker pink it will be ) — I also made it with my friends juice from @TheHabitProject
1 TBSP Coconut butter
Desired amount of Non- dairy milk creamer OR regular non-dairy milk of choice
1 TBSP Honey
Place water, chai tea blend and tea of choice in pot and simmer for 5-10 minutes on low. add coconut butter and honey. Remove from stove.
Add milk and Beet juice to blender, add warm tea mixture and let er rip! ( Make sure to blend for 30-40 seconds or you won’t have enough milk froth )
I hope you guys enjoy it
