Mickey Mouse birthday party for a special boy!

My little boy’s third Birthday was a success! Somehow we managed to miss the rain, there were no major meltdowns, and I think we all just had fun!
I had so much fun planning this Birthday Party. He just loves the Mickey Mouse clubhouse, especially after our visit to Disneyland last year.  I got to use lots of colours, and I could barely sleep the night before because I was so excited to see it all come together!

In honor of the Mickey Mouse theme we all wore bow- ties –
I really wasn’t as organized as I usually am this year, I last minute sent out the invitations, and really just started working on it the week before. ( O.K thats not entirely true…..  ðŸ˜‰ )

The best thing I just found out about are party printables. They are affordable and really bring the party together. They send you a file, you go online, send it to Staples, and you pick it up, done, done, and done! ( except then you have to cut them all out, but if your really smart, you get your husband to do it while he watches T.V ;0
We picked up flowers ( wholesale )  from my friend Adrienne’s family company eighteen  acres. It’s a much more affordable way to add some arrangements to your special event.  It’s located near Bradner rd, and if your wanting to add some Fall decor to your front steps, they have beautiful “Mums”  at only $5 each!! ( Support local business 🙂 )

With the extra flowers I put them into little bunches for all the Mama’s to take home 🙂
And then the party began!

I re-used a lot of  my old party decorations, plus I borrowed some things from my other party planner friends to keep costs down.

This lil table of goodies was a work of love, I must say. Usually I get really lazy and buy everything from Costco. But there was just too many cute mickey mouse inspired goodies that I wanted to make them.
On the menu: Pluto pops, mickey mouse cupcakes, mickey mouse oreo cookies, mickey mouse rice krispie pops, pumpkin pie cupcakes with caramel salted buttercream icing get the recipe HERE, it’s a fall must – have.
Steve said, the next party we have needs to have more healthy things, the kids were all on a sugar high!

This idea came from my friend Cindy. She texted me ” I have a idea for Levi’s Birthday!”
And here it is-
( Thanks woo 😉

And our special party guests:

And my handsome little Birthday boyTime for presents!

( Dion was so cute, I think he was a little jealous, he kept crawling over and laying himself on top of the present, not much longer for you lil man )

This was our second year doing the pinata thing. It seriously is a big hit for the kids big and small. They were all so patient and took turns whacking that thing!
( Levi’s face in the above picture seriously makes me LOL!!)

I had so many great pictures that this post could go on and on!
But this pretty much sums it all up……
Happy Birthday to my little  big boy.  We love you and look forward to all the exciting things life brings this next year!
