She Shed

I’ve had some requests to share a bit more details about our “She Shed” which is more like a- “He Shed, She Shed”  ðŸ˜‰
We got ours made just over a year ago now and  it functions so well on our property. Serving as a shed to house a lot of our yard tools, wood storage and a place I can escape to (the She Shed part, pictured above with the purple door..)

Steve and I sat down and designed it, then had Mini Built Structures make it. They are a local, family run company that we came across years and years ago when we happened to be driving around looking for properties. So very serendipity. Anyways.. they made the shed at our last house and it’s been amazing to see them evolve over the years. This by the way is in no way sponsored, we’re just really happy with their workmanship and happy to spread the word.
I’ll link them again HERE

Originally we had thought the She shed area was going to be the place the animals were put at night (hence the doggy door at the bottom) But the second this thing landed on our property I claimed it as my own.
Can you see why.. 😉
It has become such a happy place for me to escape to.
I use it to dry all my herbs and flowers and I also use it to store my gardening stuff, my bulbs over winter, etc etc..

When we got it,  it wasn’t finished on the inside at all. Steve wired it, added some paneling, IKEA floating shelves, vinyl flooring and the lighting on the interior and exterior of it.
It’s only 5×8 feet big but for now, it’s all I really need.

Let me know if you have anymore questions about it and I’ll try to answer them!
Happy Weekending!
Michele
