Spring kicks

| DRESS |

We are currently on spring break with the older kids, it’s been so nice to not have to worry about a schedule or think about homework etc and have a little break from the busyness that school schedule sometimes brings. Although it means I have more little ones at home, I think we’ve all enjoyed this break…  The sun seems to be hiding here in the Vancouver area ( seriously sun- where are you?! ) and if you’re from around here I think we can all agree that we are soooo ready for some warmer, sunnier days…

I don’t know about you guys – but no matter how hard I try to make my kids stay little forever- they keep on growin. We go through shoes around here like candy and Spring break is always the middle point where we need to buy the next size up to last the rest of the year.  My older boys are definitely getting more of an opinion on what shoes they want to wear so I was pretty darn happy to learn that DSW shoes now has a kids line. Name brands like New Balance, converse, Adidas, and Vans – just to name a few.. All shoes that Steve loves AND the boys love ( I feel some matching/ twinning happening in their near future 😉 They have over 20,000 pairs of shoes to choose from and even have shoes that are small enough for the twins as well. I picked myself up a pair of booties that are a great winter- spring transition, and look great with a pair of jeans and ( or ) a dress.
It’s so nice as a busy mama to have the option to look / buy online but to also be able to go in the store and actually try on the shoes to make sure they fit and look right. They have a rewards/points card and AMAZING deals and new promos that come up ( I got the kids and my shoes all discounted – some were even half off ) which is pretty important when you’re buying shoes for a household of seven !

Happy shopping friends!
XO, Michele
